Worship and joy filled Vida Nueva's sports hall during the Christmas recital performed by the students of the Evangelical Primary and Secondary School.

Glorifying God, that was the goal and the desire dwelling in the hearts of everyone who attended the Christmas recital held on December 18 at the Vida Nueva Center’s sports hall. It was a concert full of gratitude and joy that filled that special night with hope.
The event began at 6:00 p.m. with a welcome speech and an introduction to the songs that would be performed, which were a series of classics, both English and Spanish lyrics, praising God and giving Him honor and glory. The first to take the stage was the Infance students, who sang Campanas de Salvación (“Bells of Salvation”) and Navidad es Jesús (“Jesus is Christmas”).We could dwell again in the true meaning of Christmas: Jesus Christ bringing light, peace, and salvation to all.

Next, the Primary School children led us by the hand on a borderless journey filled with joy, with Ding Dong Merrily on High in Spanish and Joy to the World in English. Music poured the place with the joy that comes from knowing that Jesus has been born.
Finally, Infance and Primary performed a choreography together to the song Today is the Saviour’s Day . Through their dance they reminded us that every day is a day of salvation because Jesus is with us.

The recital entered a moment of reflection and intimate worship with our Secondary School students. With Santa la noche (“Silent Night”), they transported us to that divine moment when the stars shone over the manger and the Saviour was born among us. Then we were able to hear, through Awesome God/God Only Knows, that God is truly amazing and overcomes all darkness. To conclude this part of the recital, we joined together in Soli Deo Gloria to recognise that all glory, all honour, and all beauty belong to God alone.
As a final touch to the concert, all the students invited those present to respond to the call of salvation of Jesus Christ. With Venid fieles todos (“O Come, All Ye Faithful”), the audience was encouraged to draw their hearts closer to the source of all peace, the path of love and true hope.

Once the recital ended, the school director, Mrs. Sotés, went up on stage and shared a few words. Through Isaiah 9 and the true story of a woman of faith, deep conviction, and determination. We were encouraged to keep fighting with our eyes fixed on Jesus. Mrs. Sotés urged us not to give up whatever the circumstances because “a Son has been given to us,” Jesus Christ. Mrs. Sotés expressed her gratitude to everyone who makes this dream (the school) possible: students, parents, teachers, and the different teams (cleaning, legal, maintenance). A dream that belongs to God and has become true thanks to those who are sacrificing their own ambitions each day.
The parents, in turn, thanked the teachers with kind words and a heartfelt gift in the form of Christmas baskets. Finally, teachers themselves dedicated a card to Mrs. Sotés, recognizing that this project wouldn't be possible without God’s grace manifested through her guidance. They highlighted her commitment and passion, her patience, love, and vision shown every day. They pointed out her love for God, evident in both, her personal life and her work within the school.
The celebration ended with Mrs. Sotés words of gratitude and warm wishes for a Merry Christmas to everyone.
